About DRR
Executive Leadership
DRR was founded and is led by restoration industry veterans who have spent careers at the highest level of the business. Their credentials, relationships, and technical depth are what makes DRR different.
Founders
The people behind every loss
When you work with DRR, you work with the founders — not a call center. Their names are on every project.

Eduardo Ruiz
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Eduardo has spent over two decades managing some of the largest and most technically complex restoration losses in the country. His background spans large-loss water mitigation, structural drying, environmental remediation, and full operations management at the national level. He built DRR to deliver the technical standard the industry demands but rarely delivers — and he oversees every project personally.

Teresa Delatorre

Teresa leads business development at DRR with a focus on commercial property management, multifamily communities, and industry partnerships. Her background in vertical market development within the restoration industry gives her a precise understanding of what property managers and asset owners need from a restoration partner. Active member of IFMA, BOMA, ALFA, AHCA, AASBO, CASHE, and AICA.
LinkedIn
Makenna Taubel
Business Development Manager
Makenna manages client relations and business development at DRR, bringing a background in environmental science and a working knowledge of the compliance side of restoration. Her scientific training gives her the ability to translate complex scopes into clear, actionable language for property managers, facility directors, and carriers. Active member of AMA, IFMA, BOMA, ALFA, and AHCA.
LinkedIn
Jose Soto
Operations & Process Engineer
Jose brings a discipline most restoration companies don’t have — industrial engineering applied directly to how a job gets planned, executed, and documented. With 4+ years embedded in the restoration industry across both field operations and administration, he designs the workflows and process systems that keep DRR projects on schedule, on scope, and defensible under carrier review. His proficiency in DocuSketch and Matterport means every loss is diagrammed and dimensioned to the standard adjusters and TPAs expect from day one. Where most contractors run on instinct, Jose builds systems — and those systems are what allow DRR to deliver consistent quality at scale.
